Natural vs Synthetics
At The Balm Company the term natural is defined as ingredients derived from a natural source such as plants and minerals.
Synthetics ingredients are defined by The Balm Company as not derived from nature and created in a laboratory.
Type of Ingredients
The Balm Company uses plant based materials such as oils, butters and waxes. Mineral products such salts, magnesium, zinc etc are also used.
The Balm Company only uses bee related products such as beeswax and honey.
Other animal products are not used in the products.
All of the ingredients are sourced via suppliers that are approved by the Soil Association.
